warm homes plan funding - grants for solar pV and battery storage

The governments Warm Homes Plan incorporates all of the government legislated programmes, from BUS (Boiler Upgrade Scheme), WHLG (Warm Homes Local Grant) and SHDF (Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund) through to LAD (Local Area Delivery).  Most schemes are managed through each separate local authority but others, like BUS are managed nationally.  The new Warm Homes Agency is currently being created to incorporate more funding streams.  We are exceptionally fortunate to be included  in one of these new funding streams which offers grant funding towards Solar PV and battery storage

This grant funding is available to eligible householders whose income is under £35k per year AND meets one of the following criteria:

  • Householder aged 70+
  • Householder has a health condition made worse by the cold
  • In receipt of free school meals in school years 3-7

To qualify, you must be resident at the property and it must be your main residence.  You can be renting your home too, but you must gain permission from your landlord to apply.  The grant funding is £4,500 off the cost of the system and must give you the maximum benefits possible.  

We will assess your home free of charge, and supply you with a design suitable for your home which will details your savings and payback period
